We can purchase private number plates on your behalf

The government currently operate two types of auction. The custom marks auction which is mainly for lower priced year letter numbers and the classic collection, where more select and expensive number plates are sold. PY Numberplates regularly attends all number plate auctions which are held at various destinations around the UK every year and as sponsors of the Auction Price Guide and Car Numbers we have a very extensive and excellent working knowledge of how these events work.

If you wish us to attend one of these auctions and act on your behalf in securing private number plates then please follow the instructions below.

• First, print out our "Auction Bid Agreement "
• Second, complete all required information on the agreement
• Finally, fax or post the form to us ASAP, details here

Please note: There is no risk to yourself at any time. If we bid for your number plate, we charge a small booking fee of £20 then, if we are successful we charge our normal fixed commission fee of £250. We feel this is a very fair price for the service involved.
